About the job
In this role, you will assume end-to-end responsibility for various production and operational processes withina complex industrial context. You will coordinate and optimize these processes, with a clear focus on efficiency, sustainability, and cost control. You will analyze existing workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate these into concrete action and improvement plans. In addition, you will serve in an advisory capacity regarding laws and regulations and act as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders. As the central point of contact, you maintain regular communication with the client regarding new needs, process optimizations, and cost-saving initiatives.
This role also involves a commercial component: you actively contribute ideas on process and cost optimization and are able to identify opportunities, formulate proposals, and present them to the client in a persuasive manner. In short, you combine operational drive with analytical insight, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen, ensuring that processes not only run smoothly but also continuously improve and create value.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a chemistry-related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial or highly regulated environment
- Experience in process optimization and/or operational stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- A hands-on mindset with a pragmatic approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different levels
- Fluent in Dutch and English; good knowledge of French
- Willing to travel regularly to various locations within Flanders
