About the job

For an international and highly automated operational environment, we are looking for a Head of Facility & Maintenance. In this role you will be responsible for the technical management of the distribution center and manage both automation maintenance and facility operations.

You will lead and coach technical teams, monitor the reliability of automated systems and infrastructure, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site.

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing and developing technical and facilities teams
  • Managing maintenance of automation systems and building infrastructure
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Tracking suppliers, contracts and technical supplies
  • Monitor safety, compliance and operational continuity
  • Initiate improvement and optimization projects
  • Budget management and reporting

Job requirements

  • Technical bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Experience within maintenance, facility or an automated industrial environment
  • Strong people manager with technical expertise
  • Knowledge of automation, PLC systems and continuous improvement
  • Analytical, hands-on and communication strong
  • Good knowledge of English, Dutch is a plus
