About the job
As Maintenance Manager A.I., you’ll step in as the crisis manager for an existing maintenance environment. You’ll be able to accurately assess the current situation. Based on that analysis, you’ll take the appropriate steps to ensure short-term progress and keep the technical department on the right track.
You manage your department’s maintenance budget, thereby keeping costs for preventive and corrective maintenance under control. You explore innovations in this area and reach out to the necessary partner companies.
From a technical standpoint, you have a thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, enabling you to support your technical staff and implement the right measures to ensure a high-performing maintenance organization.
You will lead a team of internal and external employees, including technicians, work planners, a supervisor, and a maintenance engineer.
Job requirements
For the position of interim maintenance manager, we are looking for freelancers for whom maintenance has been a common thread throughout their careers.
You have experience leading a team of work planners, supervisors, and technicians. This team may consist of both internal and external employees. You know how to bring them together as a team and implement a unified vision that aligns with the company’s production needs.
Throughout your career, you have gained valuable insight into setting up a technical service department within a manufacturing environment. This goes hand in hand with your skills and experience in managing the maintenance budget. In this way, you reduce costs and increase the uptime and OEE of the machinery.
You are also able to translate this vision into the design of a structure within maintenance software such as SAP, Maximo, Ultimo, McMain, etc., to ensure an optimal operational structure and knowledge retention for the maintenance processes within the organization.
