Strooming is currently looking for an Asset & Maintenance Manager for a leading sustainable chemistry company within the fire safety industry. This innovative Belgian company is growing rapidly, with operations in Germany, France, the UK and more.
Recently, it further strengthened its market position by acquiring an Italian company. Moreover, the company is about to expand its production capacity, which calls for reinforcement within the team.
As Asset & Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for everything concerning maintenance within the company. You set up an asset structure for the machinery, which lays the foundation for qualitative and efficient production processes. You develop preventive maintenance plans for the production lines and draft work instructions for technicians and operators.
In addition, you develop and monitor KPIs to measure and improve the effectiveness of maintenance processes. You play an active role in optimization projects, such as the implementation of maintenance software for both daily and long-term monitoring. You contribute to and ensure the achievement of continuous improvement objectives.
You will manage master data, such as inventory of machinery and stock materials, and ensure that documentation is kept up-to-date. You will also be responsible for purchasing new machines and materials for maintenance purposes. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead various projects, from new installations to improvements to existing systems and infrastructure.
In this position you are the engine behind the start-up of the maintenance program that has to start from quasi 0. Quite a big challenge but with an impact where you can make a world of difference.
We are looking for a driven candidate with a degree in Electromechanics, Mechanics or Electrical Engineering.
