We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trade Compliance Program Manager to lead the rollout of our client’s Customs Export Control Sanctions and Internal Compliance Program (ICP) across all Business Units (BUs). This multi-year program, approved by the board, comes at a pivotal moment with the current geopolitical landscape, offering significant exposure and impact.
Program Rollout: Lead the implementation of the ICP across all BUs, ensuring alignment with each unit’s unique operational needs and leadership requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct in-depth interviews with key stakeholders across different units to understand and address their specific needs.
Geopolitical Awareness: Stay informed on global geopolitical changes and their implications on trade compliance, ensuring the program adapts accordingly.
Project Management: Utilize strong project management skills to oversee the program’s progress, milestones, and deliverables.
Trade Compliance Expertise: Apply extensive knowledge in trade compliance, including BAFA regulations, to guide the program’s development and execution.
Soft Skills: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse needs and expectations of BU leaders.
Experience: Proven experience in rolling out internal compliance programs within large multinational companies. Experience in a big consulting firm where you worked on trade compliance projects could also work, eg BAFA and ICP
Skills: Strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of trade compliance regulations and geopolitical trends.
A high level project management role, with a lot of exposure, reporting directly to the Global Head of Trade Compliance.
