About the job
Our client is looking for a Warehouse Manager to support the growth of its logistics operations and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of its facility.
As Warehouse Manager, you report directly to the Site Director and are responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the warehouse, playing a central role in leading and developing the teams.
You will manage a team of approximately 50 employees. Working on the front lines, you will support your teams on a daily basis, remain attentive to their needs, and ensure clear and constructive communication. You establish a structured work environment, foster collaboration, and ensure that procedures and established goals are followed.
In a highly automated logistics environment, you ensure that operations are well coordinated and that daily activities run smoothly. You quickly identify operational challenges, propose concrete solutions, and follow up on the actions taken to ensure the continuity and efficiency of operations.
Finally, you contribute to the organization’s continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for optimization and involving your teams in the necessary changes. You work closely with the Site Manager to support operational objectives and contribute to the warehouse’s overall performance.
Job requirements
- You have experience in an operational environment and in logistics, and you have previously managed a team.
- You enjoy working in the field and are comfortable with the day-to-day management of operations and teams.
- You are a good listener, yet you know how to make decisions and ensure that guidelines are followed.
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and know how to handle situations calmly, diplomatically, and firmly.
- You are pragmatic, responsive, and solution-oriented.
- You are a mature, dynamic, and ambitious person who wants to take on a position of responsibility.
