About the job
As Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations and play a crucial role in further developing a high-performing and customer-focused operation:
- Managing, coaching, and developing an operational warehouse team.
- Creating a positive and results-oriented work environment in which employees can grow.
- Maintain close contact with customers and serve as their operational point of contact.
- Coordinating and monitoring warehouse operations, including various value-added services (VAS).
- Monitoring quality, productivity, and service levels.
- Respond quickly and effectively to operational challenges and unexpected situations.
- Maintaining a clear, big-picture view of the entire operation.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and actively contribute to process optimization.
Job requirements
- Experience in a management position in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain.
- A strong people manager who knows how to motivate, mentor, and help employees grow.
- Fluent communicator in Dutch, French, and English.
- Stress-resistant and able to set priorities in a dynamic environment.
- A proactive attitude and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Hands-on approach: You’re closely involved in operations and know what’s going on on the front lines.
- Entrepreneurial, responsible, and driven to achieve results.
- Experience with VAS activities is a plus.
