Our client is a leading player within the manufacturing industry. To realize their further growth and ambitions, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager (Kempen region) who can bring structure, leadership and continuous improvement within a versatile and dynamic production environment.
About the job
As Supply Chain Manager, you are responsible for the entire Supply Chain chain. You lead various teams consisting of Warehousing, Planning and Logistics. Together with the COO you determine the Supply Chain strategy for the entire organization and translate this into concrete initiatives that increase efficiency, strengthen collaboration between departments and structurally improve operational performance.
- You create overview in complex production and logistics processes and ensure optimal flow between all departments involved.
- You will build a robust and predictable Supply Chain by aligning inventory levels, capacity, planning and customer demand. Here, customer satisfaction and delivery reliability are key.
- You introduce data-driven reporting with clear KPIs, making performance measurable and trackable. This allows timely detection of bottlenecks and targeted improvements that structurally increase efficiency and quality.
- You will play a key role in the ERP transition by translating processes into a future-proof system and monitoring data integrity.
- You will provide direction to multiple teams (+-10 direct and 35 indirect reports) in different locations and increase their maturity, collaboration and results orientation.
- You are visible, engaged and a hands-on leader who can translate strategic insights into operational actions.
- Report to the COO.
Job requirements
- You have a master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
- You have a demonstrated experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment combined with people management.
- You are a strong leader: coaching and connecting, but at the same time clear and decisive when needed.
- You feel at home in a complex organization, remaining calm and thoughtful in a context that is constantly evolving.
- You communicate clearly and diplomatically, with sufficient assertiveness to provide direction and cut knots.
- You combine strategic insight with a hands-on mentality.
- You have experience with various ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP,…)
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
