To further support this growth and take the supply chain organization to the next level, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Supply Chain Manager with vision, decisiveness, and a passion for optimization.
About the job
In this role, you’ll be at the helm of the supply chain organization and ensure that all links in the chain work together optimally. You’ll provide a clear overview, bring structure to processes, and translate business objectives into operational solutions. Together with your team, you’ll help build a forward-looking supply chain that’s ready for further growth and development.
- You are responsible for developing and monitoring production and capacity plans, while ensuring optimal alignment between demand and available resources at all times. In addition, you analyze and improve forecasting processes to further increase the accuracy of forecasts.
- You will coordinate all aspects of inventory management and, in collaboration with the various departments involved, ensure optimal product availability and an efficient logistics flow. In doing so, you will monitor delivery reliability and service levels.
- You continuously analyze and optimize processes in purchasing, warehousing, master data, customer service, logistics, planning, and forecasting.
- You play an important role in the organization’s ongoing digitization and professionalization.
- You will lead a team of 6 employees and support them in their continued development and growth. In this role, you will report to the COO.
Job requirements
- You have a college degree or equivalent experience and a strong background in supply chain management in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience in the food industry is a major asset.
- You combine strategic insight with a pragmatic and hands-on approach.
- You feel at home in a dynamic SME environment and can easily switch between operational and strategic challenges.
- You are a strong people manager who knows how to coach, motivate, and help employees grow.
- You build bridges between different stakeholders and foster support for change and improvement.
- You take the initiative, are results-oriented, and feel responsible for achieving goals.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
