To support their further growth ambitions, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Supply Chain Manager.
About the job
As Supply Chain Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the entire supply chain process, with a clear focus on Transport, Purchasing and the Field Service Team. You combine a strategic view with a hands-on approach and play a key role in further structuring and optimizing the organization.
- You are responsible for the entire transport policy (national and international). You optimize logistics flows, select and manage transport partners. You monitor delivery reliability, lead times and costs, and continuously adjust where necessary.
- Together with the CEO, you develop and implement a well thought-out purchasing strategy. You ensure optimal inventory levels, monitor delivery reliability and proactively respond to risks in the supply chain.
- You will coordinate and support the Service Department, focusing on planning, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- You analyze existing processes and bring structure where needed. You implement standardized practices and clear procedures to increase efficiency and transparency. You initiate and supervise improvement projects and ensure a culture of continuous improvement.
- You will work closely with Production, Sales and other departments to optimally match supply and demand and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- You ensure clear communication, coaching and development of your team (+/- 10 FTEs). You create involvement and ensure efficient collaboration within and between teams. You report to the CEO.
Job requirements
- You have a higher education (or equivalent through experience) and have relevant and broad experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing or production environment.
- You combine a strategic mindset with a pronounced hands-on mentality and feel at home in an SME context where fast switching is essential.
- You are strong in stakeholder management and know how to bring internal teams and external partners into change.
- You are a coaching leader who can motivate, structure and grow people.
- You communicate fluently and professionally in both Dutch and English (knowledge of French is a plus).
- You are results-oriented, pragmatic and take ownership in a dynamic and growing environment.
- Construction leave poses no problem for you.
