We are looking for a Project Buyer for their office at the Kempen.
About the job
Due to their continued and constant growth, there is a need for reinforcement within the purchasing team. Your job is to make the entire purchasing process run smoothly from start to finish. You focus on finding the right suppliers, send out price requests and dare to negotiate with them. You follow up the entire ordering process and come up with appropriate solutions when problems arise. You keep a close eye on stock and have a good overview of the various ongoing projects.
With a dose of common sense and a healthy interest, you enjoy immersing yourself in the technical aspects of the products. You are not averse to jumping in here and there and assisting your colleagues where necessary. You like to know what is going on on the floor and also the stock in the warehouse is something you prefer to observe with your own eyes. In addition, you like to be in direct contact with internal stakeholders and translate their needs into purchasing.
Job requirements
- You have experience and affinity for technical products;
- Common sense translates into a Bachelor’s level of thinking combined with the right skills to complete your responsibilities;
- You are results-oriented, accurate, and know how to handle things organizationally;
- Personal growth is a driving force for you. You believe in a transformational story and dare to jump on that train with you;
- Communication is key. Both internally and with suppliers, you know how to speak the right language.

In terms of salary, we are targeting -according to experience- a salary towards €4000 to €4500 gross.
