About the job
For a dynamic production environment we are looking for an analytically strong Production Planner who keeps the overview between sales, supply chain and operations. In this role, you are responsible for coordinating production capacity, inventory management and delivery schedules so that customers are delivered on time and processes continue to run optimally.
As Production Planner, you are the central point of contact between different departments within the organization. You translate sales forecasts and customer requests into realistic and efficient production planning, continuously taking into account available capacity, stock levels and delivery deadlines. You monitor production daily and make adjustments where necessary to avoid delays or inefficiencies.
You analyze processes, detect improvement opportunities and actively think about how planning and production can be organized smarter. You combine operational insight with a strong analytical approach. You work closely with teams within supply chain, purchasing, warehouse and production to ensure that everything remains smoothly aligned.
In addition, you support the organization with reports, analyses and insights that contribute to strategic decisions. In a dynamic environment with changing priorities, you know how to keep an overview and make the right choices quickly.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an economic, logistics or technical field, or equivalent through experience.
- Experience within production planning, supply chain or operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical acumen combined with a pragmatic approach.
- Good knowledge of Excel, ERP systems and scheduling software.
- You work in a structured way and maintain an overview even when priorities change quickly.
- Communicative strong and fluent in collaboration with various departments.
- Proactive, solution-oriented and driven by continuous improvement.
- You take ownership and dare to make decisions in a dynamic environment.
