We are looking for a motivated Production Manager for a great SME in the food industry in the Kempen region, who will oversee day-to-day production activities and continuously strive for optimization, efficiency, and quality.
About the job
As Production Manager, you are responsible for managing and organizing the entire production process. You ensure that the production schedule is carried out efficiently and that the set objectives in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery reliability are met. In doing so, you work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of the production environment.
You will coach and motivate the production teams, create a positive work environment, and foster a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement. You will analyze production performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement improvement projects that contribute to greater efficiency and productivity. In addition, you will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene regulations and take an active role in the further development of processes and employees.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree + at least 3 years of experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment;
- Experience with production processes, process optimization, and managing teams;
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect different departments;
- Proactive, structured, and results-oriented.
