Our client is a leading food company with multiple production sites across Europe. Thanks to their expertise and strong international reputation, they belong to the top within their niche. For their Antwerp site, we are currently looking for an experienced Production Manager to join the team.
About the job
As Production Manager, you lead the operational teams within production and warehouse and, with the help of your direct reports, you are responsible for a team of approximately 100 employees. You are also a visible presence on the shop floor and create a culture in which safety, quality, ownership and cooperation are central. You coach and develop managers and employees, encourage commitment and ensure that teams can further professionalize. Through clear communication and a result-oriented approach, you know how to motivate people and take them along in changes and improvement processes.
As a member of the operational management team, you will report directly to the Plant Manager. You actively contribute to the strategic and operational development of the plant and act as an important link between the shop floor and management. Your leadership, analytical insight and hands-on approach will ensure that the plant achieves its objectives and continues to grow in a competitive and dynamic market.
Job requirements
- Bachelor/master opleiding;
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Hands-on en get-it-done mentaliteit;
- Sterke drive en visie om de groei van de site mee te realiseren;
- Coachende en begeleidende vaardigheden met het vermogen het potentieel van alle werknemers te identificeren en benutten;
- Combinatie van strategisch inzicht en wendbaarheid. Belangrijk om prioriteiten te stellen;
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
