For their rapidly growing and professional manufacturing environment, we are looking for a Production Manager to take end-to-end responsibility over production, logistics and planning.
About the job
As Production Manager, you take the daily direction of operational operations. You coordinate and optimize the planning of production, logistics and teams and ensure that people and resources are deployed efficiently and purposefully according to business needs. By making smart choices in transport and deliveries you ensure that customers are delivered correctly and on time.
You are a regular and visible presence on the shop floor, where you monitor the performance of the various departments. You analyze deviations, adjust where necessary and translate this into concrete improvement actions to make processes smarter, more efficient and future-proof. In addition, you take an active role in consultations with other departments and management. You invest in the development and growth of employees and ensure a safe, orderly and quality working environment in which continuous improvement is central.
Job requirements
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- You have several years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, food industry experience is a plus.
- You think in a solution-oriented way and are able to make pragmatic decisions quickly.
- You are strong in planning and organizing and keep an overview easily in a dynamic environment.
- You combine analytical insight with a clear focus on continuous improvement.
- You are hands-on, enjoy working collaboratively with your teams, and naturally take on a leadership role.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and French, both verbally and in writing.
