Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing SME in the construction industry, with multiple locations and clear ambitions for the future. To support this continued growth, a new position has been created: Operations Manager.
About the job
In this role, you will play a central role in optimizing and further developing the entire organization. You will work closely with the General Manager to help shape the organization’s strategy and translate it into concrete and achievable action plans.
- You will evaluate current processes, make adjustments where necessary, and ensure consistent and efficient operations throughout the entire organization.
- You will actively support and coach the site managers in their day-to-day operations, with the goal of ensuring efficient planning, smooth execution, and high-quality standards for the projects.
- You will coordinate the planning and ensure smooth coordination between the Sales and Operations teams so that projects are scheduled efficiently and executed correctly within the agreed-upon timeline.
- You analyze project results and translate them into targeted actions to further improve operations.
- You will ensure an efficient purchasing and inventory policy, with a focus on costs and continuity.
- In this role, you will report to the General Manager.
Job requirements
- You have at least 8 years of experience in the construction or related industry, supplemented by proven experience in managing teams.
- You have strong communication skills, natural leadership abilities, and the ability to inspire, guide, and motivate teams toward shared goals.
- You are results-oriented and proactive, with a hands-on approach that enables you to respond quickly to challenges and take targeted action.
- You communicate effectively and professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues, and you have the ambition and drive to actively contribute to the organization’s continued growth and development.
- You are flexible and willing to work at various locations, and the construction industry’s annual leave period does not pose an obstacle.
