About the job

As Operations Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations, optimization, and further professionalization of the entire production site. You take ownership of operational activities, with a clear focus on continuous improvement, efficiency, and performance.

You ensure that production orders are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the highest quality standards. At the same time, you monitor delivery reliability, productivity, and cost efficiency, and make adjustments as needed.

With your strong focus on improvement and optimization, you’ll analyze production processes, identify bottlenecks, and launch improvement projects centered on areas such as efficiency, automation, lead times, and cost structure. You won’t stop at the strategic level: you’ll oversee the practical implementation of improvements on the shop floor and ensure that new work methods are effectively adopted and applied.

You are not afraid to critically question existing processes and work methods, and you contribute practical and creative ideas on how to organize production in a smarter, more efficient, and better way.

As Operations Manager, you’ll frequently be on the production floor. You’ll analyze data and KPIs, identify deviations, and investigate their root causes. Together with the technical department, you’ll work on structural corrective and preventive measures and ensure that improvements are implemented in a sustainable manner.

Together with the Quality team, you will closely monitor quality parameters and ensure that deviations are not only resolved but also prevented on a structural basis. In addition, you will actively contribute to further developing a strong safety culture within the production environment.

You will monitor production scheduling and the performance of the production lines and track key KPIs, such as output, downtime, and lead times. Based on these insights, you will make adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency, productivity, and delivery reliability.

Finally, you’ll also take on an important people management role. You’ll lead a team of about 20 employees, guide and motivate your team members, and create an environment where training, development, and engagement are central.
