Today we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator for a successful family business active in the retail sector. Our client is a modern and fast growing player in the distribution and sales of premium in- and outdoor articles. With several branches it is one of the biggest players in Belgium.
To strengthen their position, the focus today is on further professionalization. In recent years, for example, the group has set up a group-level management team with the aim of creating a more efficient organization.
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator, an important role within the organization. Namely, you are responsible for the follow-up and optimization of the logistic processes. As responsible for stock management, you are the point of contact for stock problems and all actions that can affect the stock. You actively contribute to the rollout of various process improvement projects and logistics processes including an automatic ordering system. You are responsible for monitoring and planning transportation to ensure timely supply of the store locations. In this role, you work closely with Supply Chain Manager to whom you report on the various optimization projects.
