To support the further centralization and professionalization of their forecasting and S&OP processes, we are looking for a Demand Planner EMEA for them today.

About the job

As a Demand Planner EMEA, you will be responsible for creating and managing an accurate forecast for multiple European markets. You play a crucial role within the S&OP process and act as a bridge between Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain.

You work with historical data, forecasting tools and commercial input to arrive at a realistic demand plan at SKU level. You will regularly coordinate with various international stakeholders and actively contribute to the further professionalization of the forecasting process.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for creating, managing and optimizing demand forecasts for about four European markets, taking into account historical data, market trends, promotions and commercial input.
  • You will build a baseline forecast through forecasting tools and statistical models and translate promo and market information into a realistic and substantiated SKU-level demand plan.
  • You coordinate monthly with sales and marketing teams and challenge’t stakeholders to ensure the quality, completeness and reliability of the forecast.
  • You actively think about the further optimization of the forecasting and S&OP process within an international and changing environment.
  • You will work closely with various internal stakeholders including Supply Planning, Customer Service, Logistics and Business Analysts to ensure efficient and accurate planning.

Job requirements

  • You have initial relevant experience within demand planning, forecasting, S&OP or a similar analytical Supply Chain function.
  • Experience within an international environment or within consumer goods/FMCG is a strong plus.
  • You combine strong analytical skills with a fluent communication style and know how to deal professionally with different stakeholders.
  • You feel comfortable in a complex and changing environment where processes are further optimized and centralized.
  • You like to work data-driven, have affinity with forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP IBP,…) and are able to translate insights from data into concrete actions and realistic forecasts.
  • You communicate fluently in English and enjoy working in an international context, knowledge of an additional European language is a plus.
