About the job

As a Demand Planner, you are responsible for the planning and availability of a portion of the product portfolio. You serve as a key link between Customer Service, Purchasing, Production, Packaging, and Logistics, and ensure that the right products are available at the right time;

  • You will be responsible for demand planning for purchased products and will also support packaging planning;
  • You translate projected demand and customer needs into a concrete and feasible plan. In doing so, you monitor inventory levels and product availability and anticipate potential shortages or surpluses;
  • You will work closely with Customer Service, Purchasing, and Packaging Planning to ensure product availability and to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time;
  • You closely monitor the schedule and supply flow, identify deviations or potential bottlenecks in a timely manner, and take the initiative to work with the relevant stakeholders to find a solution;
  • You are responsible for the correct processing and tracking of planning data in the ERP system and ensure that the relevant information is always accurate and up to date;
  • You will be part of a team of four planners and will report directly to the Planning Manager.

Job requirements

For this challenge, we are looking for a hands-on and mature planner who enjoys taking on responsibility and thrives in a dynamic supply chain environment.

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have gained some initial relevant experience in supply chain, demand planning, production planning, or a similar field;
  • You have a good understanding of planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes;
  • You have strong analytical skills and are proficient with Excel and ERP systems; experience with SAP is a plus;
  • You are organized, meticulous, and able to quickly set priorities when the schedule changes;
  • You have strong communication skills and know how to get various internal stakeholders on the same page;
  • You take the initiative, think in terms of solutions, and don’t wait for problems to resolve themselves;
  • You speak Dutch and English fluently.
