About the client

You will be joining an international logistics group with sites in the Netherlands, Belgium and France, among others. The Belgian site in Antwerp has about 70 employees and combines a strong international context with a local, informal SME mentality.

About the job

As Business Support Coordinator, you will be the right hand of the Site Manager and play a key role in optimizing processes and systems at the site. You will work as a connecting link between the shop floor and management, with a strong impact on how the site runs.

Your focus is on process optimization, digitization and business support. You bring structure, support improvement initiatives and ensure that everything behind the scenes runs as efficiently as possible.

Your duties:

  • Mapping and analyzing a variety of support processes.
  • Detect bottlenecks and set up improvement projects.
  • Writing out and optimizing procedures, work instructions and SOPs.
  • Initiate and oversee efficiency improvements in material flows, work methods and layout.
  • Analyze data to detect trends and anomalies and translate into concrete actions.
  • Provide project-based support to the Site Manager in terms of operational and organizational optimization.
  • Function as a bridge between floor and policy.
  • First point of contact in the absence of the Site Manager
