About the client
Stroom works for a European niche partner specializing in logistics solutions for innovative sectors such as biotech and healthcare. These services include end-to-end logistics solutions, such as international distribution, storage in various temperature zones, transportation, and value-added services.
The company’s operations in Belgium are growing rapidly, and they have made significant investments in new infrastructure with larger storage capacities. To continue this growth, they are looking for a Business Development Manager who can further expand their international client portfolio.
About the job
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building a future-proof client portfolio and driving strategic growth. You will research markets, open doors, identify opportunities, and guide deals through the sometimes complex sales pipeline. In doing so, you will work closely with Business Solutions, Operations, and Legal. You will report directly to senior management.
Job requirements
They are looking for someone with at least 5 years of commercial experience in contract logistics, healthcare, or a similarly complex, highly regulated sector. Someone who can interact with C-level executives and navigate strategic decision-making. Independence and a sense of ownership are essential in this role.
