From their location in West Flanders, they support customers across a wide range of sectors with technical advice, customized solutions, and a high level of service.

Thanks to their many years of expertise, extensive inventory, and customer-focused approach, they have become a reliable partner for both industrial end customers and machine builders. To support their continued growth ambitions, we are currently looking for a Technical Sales Engineer on their behalf.

About the job

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you are responsible for maintaining and further developing customer relationships across various industrial sectors. You serve as a trusted advisor to your customers and translate technical challenges into feasible, high-quality solutions;

  • Managing and further developing an existing client portfolio, while actively identifying new business opportunities within the market.
  • Advising clients on technical applications, material selections, and custom solutions, always based on their specific needs and challenges.
  • Developing, tracking, and coordinating customer files, from the technical analysis and proposal phase through to a smooth handoff to the internal organization.
  • You serve as the link between customers, suppliers, and production, ensuring that projects are carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Monitoring market trends, new applications, and product innovations to identify additional growth opportunities for the organization.

You will report directly to the CEO.

Job requirements

  • You combine a technical aptitude with commercial experience and have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in an industrial or technical setting.
  • You have a business-oriented mindset and find fulfillment in building long-term customer relationships.
  • You are able to translate technical issues into concrete and relevant solutions that create value for both the client and the organization.
  • You have a strong interest in technical products and applications, and you actively study manufacturing processes to further develop your expertise.
  • You combine a hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • You have strong communication skills and can easily navigate interactions with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • You work independently, take the initiative, and maintain an overview of various cases.
  • You have sufficient administrative skills to accurately track quotes and customer files.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a strong asset.
