To support their continued growth, we are looking for a Logistics Project Coordinator.

About the job

Together with the Logistics Manager, you are responsible for the complete management and coordination of all logistics activities within these complex projects, from the tender phase to the final execution. You will be responsible for the planning, organization and follow-up of all logistical processes and ensure that materials, resources and transports are efficiently coordinated so that everything is available at the right location on time and correctly.

  • You are responsible a smooth and effective communication with customers, partners and internal stakeholders (Engineering, Production, Purchasing, etc.) to ensure high satisfaction and timely detection and resolution of problems.
  • You will solicit price requests from carriers and subcontractors, follow up closely and be responsible for managing transportation contracts. In addition, you monitor and report transportation costs and KPIs to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.
  • You will be responsible for analyzing logistics processes, detecting bottlenecks and implementing improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
  • You are involved in the preparation and checking of transport and customs documents and act as a central point of contact for all logistical and administrative questions related to this.
  • Reporting to the Logistics Manager.

Job requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a similar field, complemented by at least 2 years of relevant experience within a project environment.
  • You have a thorough knowledge of road, sea and inland transportation, as well as incoterms and customs formalities.
  • You are a strong communicator who collaborates smoothly and coordinates efficiently with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • You work in a structured and proactive manner, and always manage to keep an overview even in complex situations.
  • Yes can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
