About the job
You can take on a wide range of responsibilities:
- You’ll serve as a technical specialist at the garage and assist technicians by providing advice on their maintenance tasks. At the same time, you’ll keep the bigger picture in mind.
- You coordinate with the construction sites to ensure optimal support. This allows you to work closely with the project and site managers to ensure the availability of all strategic rolling stock.
- As a supervisor in the garage, you share responsibility for safety.
- In this position, you look at both the day-to-day and strategic long-term aspects. You manage a team of technicians and are closely involved in the setup, organization and direction of garage.
- You also develop your own proposals that improve operations and create a solid foundation for the technical service.
Job requirements
Profile:
- For this position, we are looking for someone with the necessary experience in rolling stock maintenance. You won’t hesitate to step in from time to time to resolve problems or malfunctions.
- You know how to set up a preventive maintenance department designed to optimize logistics and minimize the impact on operations. You will draw up the preventive maintenance schedule for strategic vehicles and create the technicians’ work schedules.
- You’ll sit down with suppliers and specialized maintenance companies to establish partnerships with them.
