What will you do?

As a Warehouse Support Specialist you have a high level of responsibility to ensure the operation is efficient and operating at optimal performance. This requires an in-depth knowledge of the logistics process to oversee all activities and processes within the department. You report to the Warehouse Supervisor and together with your colleagues you organize and prepare the different activities that are executed by the employees.

You assist the Warehouse Supervisors in all logistics operation activities were needed including driving productivity of the logistics operations departments and you identify opportunities to increase overall productivity.

Your day can be dynamic due to the ad hoc tasks that our service delivery team will request with you regarding differences in delivery with our customers. It is up to you to investigate what went wrong and more important why it went wrong. Furthermore you actively engage with process optimization and suggest improvements. 
 
Your other tasks and responsibilities consist of

• Ensuring all orders are processed efficiently and on time;
• Responsible for monitoring inbound, process and outbound;
• Identifying possible bottlenecks and solving them before they escalate;
• You are the point of contact with the operation team when there are problems with orders, systems, and material;
• Effectively communicating with other departments to ensure a productive and smooth process.
