What will you do as a Supervisor Control Tower?
As a Supervisor Control Tower  you are responsible for coordinating the logistics process from our Control Tower in Venlo. In addition to coordinating, you also contribute to improvements and optimization of the logistics process.

Starting your shift, you check the planning for today and look whether there are some things from the day before or orders for that day that should be highlighted during the sunrise meeting. After the meeting you check in with the team whether there are any questions or issues and you start with the day. 
 
Throughout the day you plan, coordinate and monitor, so you gain a lot of knowledge about logistics processes and potential bottlenecks. Based on this, you or your planners will be in touch with other departments so in the end all KPI’s and deadlines are being met.  
Responsibilities:

• Keeping track of schedule and cut off points;
• Notice potential bottlenecks in time;
• Communication between different departments;
• Update progress reports;
• Coaching and motivating staff;
• Point of contact for questions and problems.
