The logistics coordinator is part of the Transport team located in the Centralized Distribution Center in Tilburg.
Key activities of the logistics coordinator are:
 Manage/monitor all in-transit shipments together with contracted carriers
 Daily reporting about anomalies during transport towards customer
 Chase pending in-transit shipments together with carriers (IOD chasing)
 Report/validate carrier KPI’s
 Take corrective actions towards carriers in case when agreed performance isn’t met
 Chair/initiate operational meetings (if needed)
 Arrange/prepare month end volume peaks with all stakeholders involved
 Create month-end sales overview and share with stakeholders
 Analyze logistical bottlenecks and opportunities
 Translate logistical issues/problems into workable solutions
 Solve complaints/anomalies
 Pro-actively act/inform customers on outbound progress
 Processing outbound orders
 Create weekly/daily forecast and act on outcome together with stakeholders
 Involvement in projects
