Our client is an established player within the manufacturing and distribution sector, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and innovation. To strengthen the Supply Chain team, they are looking for a motivated Supply Chain Expert who likes to help build a performing and future-oriented organization.
About the job
As a Supply Chain Expert, you are responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring goods flows between suppliers, production units and customers. You ensure the timely availability of materials and products and actively participate in optimizing Supply Chain processes.
- Follow up and manage orders in ERP systems (such as SAP).
- Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages and take corrective actions.
- Support the purchasing department with orders and supplier contacts.
- Prepare and analyze reports on delivery reliability, inventory and transportation costs.
- Actively participate in improvement projects to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Communicate with internal departments (Production, Logistics, Sales) to coordinate priorities and monitor schedules.
- You will report to the Supply Chain Manager.
Job requirements
- You have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain management or a related field.
- You have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience within Supply Chain, Planning or Logistics.
- You are analytically strong, work in a structured way and think solution-oriented.
- You have a good knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and are proficient in MS Office, with a focus on Excel.
- You are communicative in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
- You can prioritize well, maintain an overview and perform well under time pressure.
- Having knowledge of production and logistics processes is a plus.
