About the job
As Supply Chain Manager, you will bear ultimate responsibility for the strategic and operational management of all supply chain activities within site. This includes supply & demand planning, production planning, operational purchasing, inventory management and warehousing & transportation. You will also work closely with other branches/sites and support as needed.
- You will develop, implement and optimize supply chain strategy at the site level, in line with business objectives.
- Together with your team, you identify and implement improvements in various (supply chain) processes.
- You will lead and motivate the supply chain team (+/- 50 people) and ensure a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- You will work closely with Production, Purchasing, Sales, Quality, Finance, etc. to achieve an integrated and well-tuned supply chain.
- In this senior role, you will play a key role in improving service quality, increasing cost efficiency, reducing waste and enhancing customer satisfaction within the organization.
- You will report to the Supply Chain & Purchasing Director BeNeLux.
Job requirements
- You have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a similar field.
- You have at least 5 years of experience within supply chain or operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- You have knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and experience with S&OP processes.
- You have strong analytical and organizational skills; you know how to translate data into concrete actions.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other improvement programs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
