Given their growth ambition, they have created the new position of Supply Chain Coordinator.
About the job
In this role, you will be responsible with the Supply Chain Director for the development and execution of the Supply Chain strategy, focusing on continuous improvement, growth and the creation of added value for the organization and customers.
- You maintain an overview of product availability and translate strategic choices about capacity, quality and delivery reliability into concrete actions.
- You will coordinate supply planning, inventory strategies and think critically about ways to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- You will have a key role within both the local and European S&OP process, working closely with colleagues from Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics and the international teams.
- You will have room to structure and optimize the Supply Chain to support the further growth of the organization you will initiate various improvement projects; forecast accuracy, stock levels, service levels, transport flows, digitization etc.
- You will manage a team of 3 Planners and ensure that cooperation runs smoothly. You report to the Supply Chain Director Belgium and indirectly to the Group Supply Chain Director.
Job requirements
- You will have at least 5 years of experience within a broad Supply Chain position, ideally combined with initial leadership experience in food or related industries.
- You combine analytical insight, and a helicopter view with a hand-on approach
- You have experience with planning and ERP systems and are comfortable with Excel.
- Through your clear way of communicating, you know how to inspire and motivate your team. In addition, you are strong in creating lasting, constructive relationships with various stakeholders.
- You are someone who can take initiative, make decisions and prioritize easily.
- You speak fluent Dutch and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
