Today we are looking for a like-minded supervisor who thinks along with the organization and looks for continuous improvements for the operation of the site.
About the job
To strengthen the team, we are looking for an experienced Supervisor with a passion for logistics and last-mile delivery. As Senior Supervisor you will manage the daily organization and closely follow operational work processes. You are responsible for monitoring quality, productivity and planning. You manage your team of drivers and work together with your fellow supervisors. Besides managing your team and colleagues, your focus is strongly on continuous improvement and safety within the regional hub. You consult with the syndical partners and maintain a good relationship with them.
Job requirements
We are looking for an ambitious person with a positive drive:
- Someone who is solution-oriented and smoothly implements continuous improvements for the operation of the hub. Someone who supports new projects and implements new procedures. Someone who keeps an overview of the terminal plan and activities so that established goals are achieved. In short, someone who achieves the intended results.
- A person who takes responsibility over his team and watches over safety and who perfectly follows the files and procedures on safety and transfers them to his employees in case of irregularities. Someone who follows up both external and internal audits and whose preparation is done together with the team support.
- Someone with leadership experience. A people manager with strong communication and leadership skills. A real primus inter pares who not only leads his team but also his fellow supervisors. Someone with maturity and responsibility.
