Our client is a leading food company with multiple production sites across Europe. Thanks to their expertise and strong international reputation, they rank among the top players in their niche. For their site in Antwerp, we are currently looking for an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to strengthen the team.
About the job
As an OPEX Manager, you play a key role in improving the site’s operational efficiency. You identify new opportunities to increase productivity, quality, and safety and translate these into concrete improvement projects. You develop and implement the OPEX strategy for the site and lead a wide range of projects, ranging from root cause analyses to OEE optimizations and Value Stream Mapping. You ensure that both quick wins and larger transformation initiatives are sustainably embedded within the organization.
In addition, you organize workshops and training sessions and coach employees on the shop floor to stimulate a strong culture of continuous improvement. You create an environment in which improvement is central and where employees are encouraged to actively contribute to change.
Job requirements
- You hold a master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable field.
- You have at least five years of experience in a similar role and can demonstrate a proven track record in Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Your analytical skills are highly developed, and you have experience with KPI monitoring and data analysis
- You have in-depth knowledge of OEE, waste reduction, and workflow optimization.
- You are a coaching leader who knows how to motivate, guide, and take teams along through change.
