About the job
As Operations Manager, you are responsible for multiple warehouses and production lines. You serve as the person with final responsibility for logistics operations and report to the CEO. Monitoring and adjusting specific KPIs related to safety, quality, and productivity is one of your objectives. You will promote the safety and quality policies throughout the various departments. You will optimize existing processes, propose improvements, and implement new procedures. You will serve as the point of contact for clients and hold regular meetings with them. You will communicate the vision of the executive board and management to the entire organization and work closely with other internal departments. Additionally, identifying new clients and opportunities will also be part of your responsibilities. You will also oversee the onboarding of new clients.
Job requirements
- Bachelor/Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant managerial experience;
- Thorough knowledge of logistics processes + technical affinity is a must;
- Hands-on mentality. It is important to roll up your sleeves within this family-oriented SME;
- Strong analytical, management and leadership skills;
- Experience with improvement and optimization projects and takes initiative in these.
