About the job
As a Transport Planner, you’ll be part of an experienced team responsible for all domestic and international transport planning. Every day, you’ll coordinate between drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure that every trip runs efficiently, safely, and according to schedule.
You will be responsible for creating and monitoring transportation schedules, with a keen eye for KPIs such as on-time deliveries, customer satisfaction, and minimizing empty miles, among others.
In the event of unexpected changes or delays, you’ll quickly and efficiently adjust the schedule. Your responsibilities also include monitoring and communicating with subcontractors, ensuring that the work is carried out correctly.
Job requirements
- You have a bachelor’s-level understanding
- Extensive experience in transportation planning or dispatching within the transportation sector
- Goede kennis van transportwetgeving en rij- en rusttijden
- Extensive geographical knowledge of the Benelux countries, France, and Germany
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English
