We are seeking a motivated Operations Manager for one of our clients, a leading international player in the logistics sector . The organization supports clients in the food industry with a wide range of logistics services and is strongly committed to quality, innovation, and sustainable partnerships.
About the job
You provide daily leadership to the operational teams and ensure the efficient allocation of personnel, resources, and capacity. You ensure the warehouse operates safely and to a high standard, coach employees, and make adjustments as needed. In addition, you work on process improvements and coordinate closely with various internal stakeholders. You also maintain contact with customers and external parties such as the FAVV and the labor unions.
Job requirements
- You have experience working in a logistics environment and find fulfillment in improving processes.
- You have experience leading and motivating operational teams.
- Experience in the food industry is a plus.
- You combine a people-oriented approach with an analytical and results-oriented mindset.
- You are decisive, take the initiative, and are not afraid to take on responsibility.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
