We are looking for an Operations Manager for an ambitious organization in the events industry—someone with a strong hands-on approach and the ambition to grow alongside the company.
About the job
The organization has experienced strong growth in recent years, both organically and through acquisitions. That expansion is now taking the organization into a new phase: maintaining its entrepreneurial spirit and agility, while at the same time establishing more structure, efficient processes, and further professionalization.
You’ll work closely with operations and serve as a key link between both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll create efficient schedules, manage drivers, handle dispatching, and ensure that customers can count on excellent service.
At the same time, you look beyond day-to-day operations. You actively contribute ideas on process optimization, digitization, and the further professionalization of the organization.
The plan is for you to assume the role of Operations Manager after one year and serve as the CEOs’ right-hand person. In that role, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations, manage and coach the teams, take on future operational projects, and support management in the further expansion of the organization.
Job requirements
We are looking for someone with experience in planning, logistics, and/or transportation, but above all, someone who is entrepreneurial, has strong organizational skills, and is hands-on.
You thrive in an environment where there’s still a lot to build; you enjoy taking the initiative and know how to bring structure without slowing down the organization or dampening its entrepreneurial spirit. Experience in people management is a plus, but above all, the ambition to grow in this area is important.
