For one of our clients, a well-established player in the FMCG sector, we are looking for a driven Logistics Manager. The organization is undergoing significant changes and has experienced steady growth for several years, with revenue increasing substantially in recent years. To support this continued growth, the company is strongly committed to efficient and high-quality logistics operations.
In this management position, you will be responsible for the entire logistics operation and will lead the logistics team. You will combine day-to-day operational oversight with the ongoing optimization of processes and structures.
About the job
As Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for all logistics operations and will lead the logistics team. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, transportation, supply chain, and logistics administration, and ensure optimal monitoring of inventory, transportation flows, KPIs, and service levels.
In addition, you will maintain collaboration with external logistics partners and carriers and take the lead on improvement projects focused on efficiency, digitization, and automation. You have a keen eye for safety and quality and ensure effective coordination with the various internal departments. You report directly to senior management, which gives you the opportunity to help shape the continued growth and professionalization of the logistics organization.
Job requirements
- You have a master’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, or you have equivalent experience.
- You have relevant experience in a managerial logistics position.
- You have a good understanding of warehouse management, transportation, and inventory management.
- You have experience working with external logistics partners and carriers.
- You have experience with WMS, ERP, and other logistics systems.
- You have strong analytical skills, are hands-on, and thrive in an operational environment.
- You have a strong technical aptitude for logistics equipment and warehouse infrastructure.
- You take initiative, work independently, and communicate fluently in Dutch and French.
