We are looking for a Plant Manager for a leading company.

In this role, you’ll combine a strong presence on the shop floor with a clear strategic vision. You’ll ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of production, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You’re an approachable and visible leader who motivates, coaches, and develops teams.
You feel at home within a broader organizational structure and can easily balance local needs with group-level expectations. The role requires a strong combination of operational involvement and strategic insight, allowing you to work in a hands-on yet forward-looking manner.
In addition to your operational responsibilities, you will play a key role in improvement and change projects within the organization. There is a strong focus on strengthening the safety culture, increasing operational maturity, and systematically improving processes. You will also take an active role in strategic projects that contribute to the site’s continued growth .
You’ll work closely with other internal stakeholders, such as supply chain, maintenance, HR, and quality.
Job requirements
- You have an engineering degree or a higher education degree in a technical field
- You have experience in a manufacturing or operations environment, preferably with ultimate responsibility for a site or a significant portion of a plant
- You combine operational effectiveness with strategic insight and feel comfortable in a role that involves both of these aspects
- You have a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- You are able to initiate and lead improvement projects and embed them sustainably within the organization
- You are a visible and approachable leader who knows how to motivate, coach, and develop teams
- You have strong analytical skills, but you’re also pragmatic and hands-on in the workplace
- You feel at home within a broader organizational structure and can easily adapt to working with various stakeholders
- You don’t just think in terms of short-term solutions, but also in terms of structural and strategic improvements that have a long-term impact.
