Our client is a well-established international company operating in the manufacturing and distribution sector. Thanks to its strong focus on collaboration and continuous improvement, the organization continues to invest in its people and processes. To further support its ongoing professionalization, we are seeking a strong Supply Chain Planner on their behalf.

About the job

As a Supply Chain Planner, you are responsible for the planning and availability of a specific international product group. You ensure that the entire flow of goods runs efficiently and maintain an optimal balance between inventory, delivery reliability, and customer needs;

  • You are responsible for developing and managing the entire medium- and long-term supply plan, taking international delivery times into account.
  • You monitor, analyze, and optimize inventory levels, including determining and adjusting safety stock levels based on demand fluctuations and availability targets.
  • You will monitor the end-to-end flow of goods, proactively identifying bottlenecks, assessing risks, and implementing measures to ensure supply continuity.
  • You analyze supply chain data, prepare reports and KPIs, and translate insights into concrete improvement actions and process optimizations.
  • You will work closely with both internal stakeholders (such as Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, and Warehouse) and international suppliers to coordinate planning and execution.

You will report to the Planning Manager.

Job requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Planning, or Logistics.
  • You have several years of experience in a planning role and feel comfortable working in an international environment with complex logistics operations.
  • You have strong analytical skills, work in a structured manner, and know how to set priorities when circumstances change.
  • You have a solution-oriented mindset, take responsibility, and switch easily between operational follow-up and analytical tasks.
  • You can easily build professional relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • You enjoy working in a data-driven way and are familiar with forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
