To support the organization’s continued professionalization, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Team Lead who will take ownership of the entire supply chain operation and help build a forward-looking organization.

About the job

As Supply Chain Team Lead, you are responsible for managing, structuring, and optimizing the entire supply chain. You will play a central role linking Sales, Operations, Logistics, Purchasing, and Customer Service, ensuring that processes and planning are aligned. You’ll be joining an environment with a strong sense of ambition, where the coming years will see a strong focus on further professionalization, process harmonization, and operational excellence. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on both the organization and the team;

  • You create structure, clarity, and well-defined processes within the supply chain organization.
  • You are responsible for product availability, inventory management, demand planning, and operational monitoring.
  • You will maintain a balance between customer needs, operational capabilities, and inventory levels.
  • You will lead the local S&OP process and ensure smooth collaboration among the various internal stakeholders.
  • You monitor and analyze supply chain KPIs and translate them into concrete improvement actions.
  • You identify risks within the supply chain and take proactive measures to ensure business continuity and delivery reliability.
  • You will maintain contact with external partners such as logistics service providers, warehouses, and manufacturing partners.
  • You will initiate and oversee improvement projects related to forecasting, inventory management, service levels, digitization, and process optimization.

Job requirements

  • You have a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree and at least 7 years of experience in a broad supply chain environment.
  • You combine strong operational knowledge with a strategic perspective and a hands-on approach.
  • You have experience leading teams and know how to get people on board with change.
  • You feel comfortable in a complex environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are able to translate data into actions and decisions.
  • You take ownership, aren’t afraid to make decisions, and maintain a clear overview, even under pressure.
  • You have experience in the food industry or FMCG and are familiar with ERP systems and planning tools.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
