To support their future growth ambitions, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager on their behalf.
About the job
As Production Manager, you will play a key role in further structuring and strengthening our production operations. You will be working in a dynamic production environment where quality, safety, and efficiency are paramount. Through your dedication, you will help build a high-performing and forward-thinking organization.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinating and monitoring production planning
- Managing and coaching 4 department heads and approximately 50 production staff
- Ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in the workplace
- Analyzing production processes and initiating improvement initiatives (lean, optimization)
- Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, logistics, engineering, and sales
- Work closely with managers from various departments (wood, metal, warehouse) to resolve production issues quickly and efficiently
- Actively coordinating with the foreign subsidiary, a key supplier to the parent company, to ensure smooth collaboration and continuity
- Monitoring KPIs and reporting to management
- Contribute to projects related to digitization, automation, and process improvement
Job requirements
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferably in a technical or industrial field)
- You have experience in a manufacturing environment.
- You have strong organizational skills and can keep track of everything.
- You take the initiative and think in terms of solutions.
- You can bring structure to an environment where a lot is happening at once.
- You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach and feel right at home in a dynamic SME environment
- You’re a coach who guides people, but also isn’t afraid to step in when needed
