Our client is an established player in the food industry, with a strong focus on innovation and quality. For their facility in the Antwerp region, they are looking for a dynamic and proactive Supply Chain Manager to join the team.
About the job
As a Supply Chain Manager, you are responsible for the entire supply chain process: from raw materials to the finished product, and from warehouse to customer. You ensure an optimal balance between supply and demand and work closely with Production, Sales, and Procurement. You translate the company’s objectives into a clear planning and inventory strategy, always keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront.
You will also be responsible for site operational activities including warehouse management, transportation, material handling, loading and unloading. You will monitor the cost, quality and service of the supply chain.
You create a safe and efficient working environment and guide your team to achieve the best results together. By analyzing bottlenecks and implementing improvement projects, you actively contribute to the further optimization of the supply chain.
Job requirements
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- You have proven experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment in the food industry.
- You are a strong people manager.
- You feel at home in a complex organization, remaining calm and thoughtful in a context that is constantly evolving.
- You communicate clearly and diplomatically, with sufficient assertiveness to provide direction and cut knots.
- You combine strategic insight with a hands-on mentality.
- You have experience with various ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP,…)
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
