About the job
As Head of Production, you are responsible for developing and implementing the operational strategy within the production departments. You will ensure safety, quality and efficiency, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes. This role is critical to the day-to-day operation of the site and the achievement of long-term goals, with the goal of taking the overall performance of the plant to the next level. In addition, you will be responsible for budget management. You will manage a team of over 100 employees. Besides coaching and guiding your team, you stimulate the cooperation between the different departments and ensure a continuous improvement mentality. You report to the Plant Manager.
Job requirements
- Master’s degree in a technical field;
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Strong skills in process optimization, strategy development and people management;
- Applying lean principles and continuous improvement is in your DNA;
- Proactive and analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
